MyCarNeedsA - Covid 19 Update

We wanted to let you know that, notwithstanding the challenges of the Covid-19 situation, will continue to operate business as usual.

Our aim is to provide a safer, easier and more convenient service to help our customers find the best quote, from an approved garage, to carry out the work on your car.

Please be assured of our continued effort to support you in the months ahead and do all we can to deliver in our aim to provide exceptional customer service.

As added assurances to all customers, we are asking car owners and garages to follow the guidelines below to ensure we do all we can to protect everyone from the spread of Covid-19.

  • Everyone should wash their hands upon entering and exiting premises. This includes, where possible, entering and exiting vehicles.
  • The use of hand-sanitiser should be made available, and used, where possible.
  • Service Providers should provide customers with clear guidance on health and safety procedures along with specific action required with reference to Covid 19 procedures.
  • Regularly clean all areas of the business including surfaces, door handles and your customer waiting area.
  • Service Providers must provide access and clear directions to suitable washroom facilities which should be checked and maintained on a regular basis. Soap and/or hand-sanitiser should be available for staff and customer use.
  • All employees must wash hands regularly with technicians advised, where possible, to use disposable protective gloves for each job.
  • After any work is completed, a member of staff should wipe down dashboard, steering wheel and door handles. Where available, vehicle valeting services, including complimentary wash and vacuum, should be offered.
  • Service Providers should, where possible, offer collection and delivery services to customers.

We also want to ensure we protect our staff as best we can. We are in the fortunate to be in position, as an on-line business, to allow those staff who can to work from home. This will not diminish the service and support we provide our customers and service network.

Whilst travel may be minimised, we will do all we can to help you maintain your car going forward.

The service is available to request and compare quotes for any work you need urgently.

If you wish to defer any work scheduled in the weeks ahead, please make use of our handy “Key Dates” function. This will allow you to set a reminder for when you want to get the work completed and we will send the quotes when you are ready.

Our AutoMOT service will of course continue as normal. This will ensure you automatically receive quotes to carry out your MOT, from approved local garages, as a reminder six weeks before it’s due date. One click and you will be booked in, making sure you remain legally on the road and confident in the roadworthiness of your vehicle.
